Secure your sessions with deposits paid at booking
Sharply cut your no-show risk
Every session Tattooed brings you is covered by a deposit, paid by the client the moment they book.
Your hourly rate
It’s used to calculate the deposit. The session balance stays settled between you and your client, on site.
Payout in 48 hours
Counted from the appointment. The delay covers the dispute window, during which a report freezes the payout.
Open or closed, 24/7
A client Tattooed brings you no longer needs to come and drop off the deposit: it’s collected at booking, whatever the time.

Why we did this
He apologized. It wasn’t his place to apologize.
He didn’t touch his phone the whole session. A tattoo artist doesn’t: the phone stays face down on the table. But at the break he picked it back up, and ate his sandwich with one hand: about ten messages. Some “what would this look like in black and grey?”, some screenshots, some from people who’ll never write back. He sighed, put the phone down, put his gloves back on. And he apologized for taking five minutes.
This guy spent years learning to do what he does. Years of drawing, of training, of skin that doesn’t forgive guesswork. And he spends his evenings typing “it depends on the size, can you send me a photo?” to people he’ll never meet. He doesn’t complain about it. He thinks it comes with the job.
Then there are the days he blocked off for someone who never showed. The slot you can’t fill the night before for the next day. The design he drew three times that ends up with someone else. Nobody sees that work, and nobody pays for it.
Every trade eventually got its own tool — the hairdresser, the physio, the corner restaurant. He runs his studio, his waiting list and his bookkeeping out of his social media. Not because it’s good. Because no one built him anything else.
As for us, we’re two tattooed entrepreneurs. We each saw this scene play out on our own, and we knew how to build the tool that was missing.
You, in all this, didn’t ask for anything. We’re not here to explain your job to you — we just built what we know how to do best.
You don’t have to apologize anymore. You just have to tattoo.

Questions from tattoo artists
Can I close my calendar whenever I want?
Yes, without notifying anyone. Remove a slot from your weekly schedule, mark yourself unavailable, or close a whole day — the affected slots are no longer offered. Appointments already booked stay in your calendar.
Who sets the price of the session?
You do. Your hourly rate is used to calculate the deposit from the duration estimate; the session balance is settled between you and your client, on site, and Tattooed doesn’t touch it.
Does Tattooed take a cut on my own clients?
Never. The commission only applies to the deposit of a client Tattooed brought you. A client booking from your appointment page, a regular, a session you write into your own calendar: no deposit is collected, nothing is taken, and you get paid the way you always have. Your clients stay yours.
Does the duration estimate commit me to anything?
No. It’s a range produced automatically from the approved design: it’s used to book the right slot and calculate the deposit. You’re free to adjust it with your client once you have the project in hand.
What if the design doesn’t look workable to me?
You see the stencil and the constraints before the session. If the project doesn’t hold up as is, you talk it over with your client and the drawing is adjusted — or you decline, and the project goes back to another tattoo artist without their deposit being lost.
What happens if the client disputes my no-show report?
The payout is frozen and the case is arbitrated before the payout deadline. Until it’s settled, the deposit is neither lost nor paid out.
What does the Premium subscription do?
It’s optional and billed monthly. It weighs into the assignment calculation, at comparable availability and distance, expands your portfolio and details your stats. Your public booking page is open to every account, with or without a subscription.
Are my portfolio photos altered?
Never. No filter, no color adjustment is applied to your photos. Only the orientation is corrected and location metadata is stripped on upload.
Tattoo with less of the business hassle
The messages, the quotes, the back-and-forth over the design, the booked slots no one shows up for. That’s time you don’t get paid for.
