How do you find a good tattoo artist near you?
The safest way is to start from your project rather than a list. On Tattooed, once your design is approved, the app checks the calendars of the tattoo artists registered around you, by real distance, and suggests three professionals. First, the one it picks based on distance, style, availability and reliability, then two others if you prefer. Each card shows the artist’s hourly rate. You can also browse tattoo artists as a list or on a map, and open their profile with their portfolio, flash, healed pieces and rates.

How is the tattoo artist suggested to me chosen?
The app considers distance, style, availability and reliability, and puts that tattoo artist first. It suggests two others, with no rating or ranking between them. You choose.
Does it work in my city?
Everywhere in France. Tattooed doesn’t roll out city by city: tattoo artists sign up wherever they work, and assignment is based on actual distance, not a list of covered cities. So what matters isn’t your city, but the number of tattoo artists registered near you — the app tells you before you commit to anything.
Who are the tattoo artists?
Professionals who’ve opened a space on Tattooed and have their identity and bank details verified by our payment provider. Until that verification is done, no deposit is paid out to them.
What if no tattoo artist is available?
Your project stays in the queue. The search starts again as soon as a slot opens up, and you are notified. You can also search around another city.
How much does a tattoo artist cost?
Each tattoo artist sets their hourly rate. Tattooed shows it on their card before you choose, and estimates the duration of your session from your design. So you know the ballpark before you book.
