Tattoo artist
What is the Tattooed reliability score, and how does it change?
It rises after every completed appointment and falls after a no-show, a lost dispute, or a late cancellation. It affects ranking, not eligibility.
It is an indicator linked to your account that rises after each completed appointment and falls after a no-show, a dispute decided against you, or a late cancellation. It is part of the ranking that decides who receives a request first, but it never excludes you from the candidate pool.
This is the only place in the product where your two client groups come together. The score uses your entire calendar, including both clients referred by Tattooed and your own clients, even though it is only used to rank requests that Tattooed offers you.
What raises it
Every appointment you attended adds points, whether it ended normally or the client did not show up. In both cases, you were there for the session, which is what the score rewards.
What lowers it
- A recorded no-show: you cancel after the scheduled appointment time, or do not cancel at all even though the client arrived and you did not.
- A dispute decided against you: a client's report is reviewed and upheld by Tattooed.
- A late cancellation: you cancel before the appointment time, but too close to it.
Canceling far enough in advance carries no penalty. This is the behavior the platform seeks to encourage: giving early notice instead of canceling at the last minute or failing to show up.
How it is calculated
The score is not a balance that changes in real time. It is fully recalculated from your complete appointment history whenever a relevant event occurs, such as the outcome of an appointment or a dispute decision. It is never recalculated continuously. It stays between a minimum and maximum set by Tattooed, regardless of the number of incidents or completed sessions.
All your appointments count, not only those Tattooed brings you
The score uses your entire calendar history. A session booked through your public booking page, or one you added yourself for your own client, counts like any other. It raises the score when completed, and a late cancellation on your part lowers it, even if Tattooed never received a cent from that session. Where to view it
Your current score and its month-by-month changes appear under "My activity", in the "Activity & projects" tab, on the "Your reliability score" card.

What it changes in practice
A lower score never removes your account from the candidates for a request. Eligibility filters, including an active profile, address, calendar, and service area, do not consider it. It only affects the final ranking alongside other criteria such as how soon the slot is, distance, subscription, and listed style. All else being equal, an account with a lower score is shown less often and appears lower among the three artists presented to the client.
