How can my listing disappear from the directory?
Four causes can remove a listing: INSEE closure, restricted publication, unsubscribing from a Tattooed email, or a merge with another listing.
Four situations remove a listing from public view: INSEE reports that the establishment is closed, INSEE no longer publishes it, the studio has opted out, or the listing has been merged with another one for the same studio. Claiming a listing through your professional account never causes it to disappear by itself.
Losing your listing removes one public entry point, not your client base. Your booking link keeps working, and your regular clients can book as before. Assignment does not use the directory and does not depend on it.
Closure or restricted publication according to INSEE
Tattooed regularly imports Sirene data again. If INSEE reports that the establishment is closed, or if its owner has opted out of having their data published directly through INSEE, the listing can no longer be displayed after the next import. Tattooed did not take this action. The official source changed.
The studio opts out
A studio can ask to be removed from the directory. This opt-out can only be reversed manually at the studio's request to support. It never reverses itself, even if a later import finds the listing again.
It is also triggered automatically, with no separate action required, when someone clicks the unsubscribe link in a marketing email Tattooed sent about this listing. Unsubscribing from that email then counts as a permanent opt-out from public display, not just a request to stop future emails. This applies only to marketing emails sent through a mailing list. Transactional emails related to your account, such as appointment confirmations and invoices, never trigger it.
Merging with another listing
Two listings for the same studio from different sources are merged into one to avoid a duplicate. The absorbed listing is no longer displayed separately. Its information remains in the listing that is kept.
What never makes a claimed listing disappear
Once linked to your professional account, a listing continues to lead to your full profile unless one of the four situations above occurs. Claiming it does not remove it from the directory.
